storyboard GmbH
storyboard is an owner-managed content marketing agency based in Munich. It was founded in June 2011 by Dr. Markus Schönmann, who previously held various management positions, including at ProSiebenSAT.1, Condé Nast and Burda.
storyboard supports companies, publishers and agencies in the development, creation and revision of content products, as well as in the realisation of their own media – graphically, editorially and conceptually. For example, storyboard oversees extensive print projects and digital offerings from the initial idea through to printing and distribution, creates content hubs or supports social media presence. At the heart of these services lies the creative idea for effective storytelling and the emotional engagement of target audiences. Where and how the stories and media are ultimately produced and deployed is determined by the client’s specifications. Today, this often involves a mix of different channels with an ever-increasing digital component.
With a team of around 50 permanent staff, storyboard develops, creates or revises content products for its clients. The agency covers the full spectrum of expertise: editorial, picture editing, graphic design and project management, sales, SEO and SEA, as well as consultancy. Depending on needs and client requirements, storyboard also draws on an extensive network of freelance editors, art directors, programmers, photographers, translators and proofreaders. The agency currently works regularly with around 120 freelancers.
